Barosse is a a lovingly restored old stone house, known as Pardina de Paternoy, a retreat that manages to be chic and rustic. It is situated in the province of Huesca in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, only 2 kilometres away from Jaca, the capital of the old kingdom of Aragon and nowadays a centre of cultural activities.

Hotel Barosse offers 6 characterful and comfortable rooms named after popular places, five double rooms (Pozo, Ermita, Lavadero, Herreria and Fuente) and one junior suite (Iglesia) all spacious and equipped with flat screen TV, heating, WiFi internet connection and ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms of the Barosse are nicely furnished and decorated in a modern way. The Junior suite has 2 floors, king size bed, DVD player, minibar and an oval window with splendid views of the Pyrenees.
The Barosse offers lovely food, using fresh produce from the local farmers markets the chef prepares the freshest of ingredients for use in his imaginative and creative menus, with special emphasis on promoting local dishes and wines. The dining room has an interesting big round table for communal meals. Individual tables are located on the outdoor terrace with beautiful views of the garden and the mountains. The Barosse Restaurant offers breakfast and dinner (guest only). Dinner has to be booked by 14:00 pm the same day.
Hotel Barosse has a relaxing Spa area with saunas, jacuzzi, steam rooms, massage and facials. The Barosse offers a full range of beauty services including aromatherapy, chocotherapy, hot essential oils among others and provides a professional massage service. The private use of the Spa area is included in the room price.

Guide to the Aragonese Pyrenees
The Aragonese Pyrenees form the central region of Spanish Pyrenees in Huesca, in the northern Aragon province. Being so close to the mountains, it is ideal for Pyrenees summer Trekking and winter Skiing. The natural area formed by the Pyrenees is one of the most valuable assests in Aragon.
Two mountain formations are distinguished in the Alto Aragon, which parallel to each other cross it from west to east: the Pyrenees and the Pre-Pyrenees. In the most most northern we can find the impressive granite ridges of the Maladetas and Balaitus, the deep valleys of Monte Perdido and the extensive woods of the western valleys of Anso, Echo y Aragues. The Pre-Pyrenees are comprised of a series of mountain ranges such as the Mallos de Riglos and the Sierra de Guara.
